ELIGIBILITY:

1. IOE, Pulchowk Campus:
Pulchowk Campus is the central campus of the Institute of Engineering. It was established in 1972(2029 B.S.) as one of the constituent campuses of the Institute of Engineering and is situated at the heart of the Lalitpur city at Pulchowk. Initially, it was started for the production of trade level manpower to fulfill the nation’s need in the field of Engineering. 2. IOE, Thapathali Campus:
From 2029 B.S. Technical Training Institute (TTI) was renamed as Thapathali Campus under Tribhuvan University (T.U.) and known as Institute of Engineering, Thapathali Campus thereafter. Campus started a diploma in mechanical engineering and the diploma in automobile engineering 2043 B.S. and later on, diploma in electronics engineering and diploma computer engineering started from 2058 B.S.
According to the policy of Institute of Engineering (IOE), the campus introduced Bachelor in Industrial engineering in 2062 B.S., bachelor in Civil engineering in 2066 B.S., Bachelor in electronics and communication engineering in 2067 B.S., bachelor in mechanical engineering in 2068 B.S., by stopping new intakes in any diploma courses from 2070 B. S. Kathmandu University school of engineering was established on September 19, 1994, and has been running undergraduate and graduate level programs in many areas.
